Emily and I went hiking for the next three days. A guide in Pokhara told us a route which is normally for four days but which can be also done within three. I liked this challenge which was really a big one for Emily, but she also made it. It was a very beautiful hike although it became quite cold the higher we went and even snow covered the slippery ground. Seeing the many guesthouses at the trek I was thinking how it would be here in peak season. Every meter must be covered by a trekker so I was happy to be here at this time and we enjoyed the silence.
These days in the nature were making it difficult to me to leave Nepal. But my visa was about to expire and I wanted to discover India to. I spent the last night in my lovely guesthouse Saxony. I discovered a spot close to the peace pagoda from where I could see the whole lake, Pakhora and the mountains. I prepared therefore my daily morning omelet in front of an incredible mountain panorama. It was one of those moments where I felt that everything I made before in life was right. I enjoyed my tea which I shared with a local hotel owner and chatted a little bit with him. I was wondering if I ever come back to this beautiful place. But my thoughts were already in India…
Hey Mathias I think you are not done to write about Nepal. Is it simply this much you experienced ?
