Tbilisi
With Dirk on my side we were traveling after this nice experience to the capital Tiflis. Normally the name is Tbilisi but the Germans named the city Tiflis more than 100 years ago. The name Tbilisi was coming from a former king who founded a settlement here and who gave the name “warm springs” (Tbilisi) to the new capital of his kingdom. On the way we stopped in Gori, the city where Stalin was born. We visited the museum of Stalin and found in weird that they even built a temple over the house where Stalin was born.
In Tbilisi we met again the guys from Frankfurt and at the next day Salome, a friend of my roomie un Berlin. She gave us a prefect sightseeing tour and we ended the day on a roof terrace and had dinner with perfect views to the city. A nice end of the journey of Dirk, who went home the next day.
My journey now continues to Yerevan. There I will met Ben and Konrad who will be my next travel mates for Armenia and Iran. I will keep Georgia as a super beautiful country and hospitable country in my mind. And I know for sure: I’ll be back!

war ein super nettes Gespräch … Ich hoffe du hast den Aragats überlebt … wir mussten leider weiter haben dafür jetzt ein Iran Visa … Schicke Seite übrigens (vor allem das Theme) und wenn wir die Fotos so sehen wünscht man sich auch bessere Ausrüstung 😉 … Alles Gute auf deiner Reise und trietz den Pajero ordentlich dafür ist er da …
